Position Overview:

CapitalPoint Financial is seeking experienced international healthcare professionals (e.g., nurses, doctors, and other medical specialists) to join our team as Health Insurance Consultants. In this role, you will leverage your medical expertise to develop and refine health insurance products tailored to the needs of external customers. This position offers the opportunity to work in one of our two U.S. locations with visa sponsorship and relocation assistance provided.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop health insurance products that meet the needs of diverse customer segments.
  • Conduct market research and analyze healthcare trends to identify opportunities for new insurance products.
  • Provide expert input on medical underwriting, risk assessment, and claims management processes.
  • Ensure that insurance products comply with U.S. healthcare regulations and industry standards.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to educate customers on the benefits of our health insurance products.
  • Develop training materials and resources for internal teams and external partners.
  • Monitor the performance of insurance products and recommend improvements based on customer feedback and market trends.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Medicine, Public Health, or a related healthcare field. Advanced degrees (e.g., MD, MPH, or equivalent) are preferred.
  • Licensure: Valid medical license in your home country. Eligibility to obtain a U.S. medical license (if applicable) is a plus.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., RN, BLS, ACLS, or specialty-specific certifications) are required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting. Experience in health insurance, product development, or healthcare consulting is a plus.
  • Specialties: Preferred specialties include Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Public Health, Nursing, or Preventive Medicine.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required. Knowledge of U.S. healthcare systems and insurance regulations is a plus.
