How To Apply For A Travel Fund Account

Select your current location and where you will like to open an overseas account.
2. Check if you’re eligible
You can apply if you’re at least 18 years old and have a valid reason for opening an overseas account.
Additional criteria may apply depending on your destination.
3. Start application
We will show you how to apply, whether that’s online, through our International Banking Centre or at a branch.
We will also tell you which documents you’ll need.
Required Documentation
To finalize your application, you may need to furnish:
- Employment, income, and tax details
- Valid proof of identity, such as your passport, driver’s license, or national ID
- Proof of address, such as a bank statement or utility bill
- Additional documents, as per qualification status, local laws, and regulations
- If applying for a joint account, details for both applicants will be necessary.
Processing Time:
The process, from submitting the application forms to account activation, typically spans approximately 12 days.
Applying online may expedite this timeframe in certain markets. During this period, ensure timely submission and verification of all required documents. Please ensure that your personal and contact information is current before applying.
Any necessary updates after initiation will require restarting the application. Unforeseen factors, such as a high volume of customer inquiries or time zone differences, may extend the account opening duration, and some aspects may be beyond our control.
